We did quite a lot on this deck and it turned out nice!
We used AZEK railing system and TImberTech composite decking. Both great products with 25 year warranty's. We purchase all our decking materials from PMC Building Supplies. Rare is the occasion when something arrives damaged or missing.
The old deck...lumber is nice but requires regular maintenance. Either painting or staining or replacing split or rotted wood.
We installed "in-deck" lighting.
The lights look really nice in the dark.
